This dark beauty has aromas of black currants and licorice, with subtle floral overtones. Intense raisin, blackberry jam and caramel flavors are balanced with fine structured tannins. The wine has a smooth round finish with dark chocolate, anise and molasses notes. It was aged for 16 months in 60% new French and American oak and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Food Pairings: Serve with steaks, chops and roasts or game meats such as duck or venison.

2007 Arcane Cellars Syrah Reserve

This big, bold Syrah was produced from grapes grown in the warm climate of the Rogue Valley at the Del Rio Vineyard. It was vinified in the traditional Cote-Rotie style using Rhone yeast isolates. It will be aged for a minimum of 15 months in 50% new French and American oak and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
We estimate 100 cases produced. Release Date: Spring 2009.
